WABASH VALLEY (WTHI) – Thursday is the annual Great American Shakeout.

The event allows people to execute earthquake drills and you can take part Thursday morning.

It’s something that schools, government agencies and businesses participate in every year. The drill happens Thursday at 10:20 in the morning.

Participants should drop to the ground on their hands and knees, cover their heads with a desk or their hands and hold on. This is also a great time to come up with an emergency plan.
