A massive cyber attack on Friday morning knocked out websites across the east coast.
U.S. law enforcement agencies have started an investigation.
What we do know is that shortly after 7:00 some of the country’s most well-known websites suddenly went offline.
Those sites include Twitter, Spotify, Netflix, along with many others.
Then, the second wave of attacks happened just before noon.
The Department of Homeland Security told CBS News it’s investigating all potential causes.
No group has publicly claimed responsibility fo the attacks.
