Coroner’s office releases cause of death for murdered Terre Haute man

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – News 10 has learned the cause of death for a Terre Haute man killed inside of his east side apartment.

On Monday, police found Matt Luecking dead inside of his apartment on Jackboot Court in the Village Quarter apartment complex.

According to the coroner’s office, the cause of Luecking’s death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Police have charged 24-year-old John Collins and 25-year-old Kathleen Featherstone for his murder.

Detectives have also arrested Benjamin J. Selig, 28 of Rockville, on a preliminary charge of assisting a criminal as a level 5 felony.
