COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Arby’s is known for having the meats, and its adding a new one to the menu at select locations nationwide.
According to USA Today, Arby’s is testing a venison sandwich. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to try the deer meat treat in Virginia right away. The sandwich will only be offered in select stories in Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin for a few days only.
Arby’s says its venison sandwich will feature venison steak topped with crispy onions and a berry sauce on a toasted roll.
“Bringing venison to our menu also allows us to continue to set ourselves apart from the competition when it comes to proteins,” Rob Lynch, Arby’s Brand President & Chief Marketing Officer, told USA Today. “You simply can’t find this at other restaurant chains.”
If the test is a success, the new sandwich could potentially roll out to its other fast-food locations nationwide.
