Indiana State loses after late punt return

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WTHI) — Once again, Indiana State football just couldn’t close today, as they drop a 13-10 decision to Youngstown State.

The Sycamores grabbed a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and held on to that for most of the game. But in the 4th quarter, with just more than ten minutes left to play, the Penguins ran a punt back for a touchdown to give Youngstown the edge.

Indiana State drops to 4-5 on the season and 2-4 in the MVFC.
