TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Later this month, you can warm up a bowl of chili while supporting local children.
If you can make chili, you can participate in the Circle K’s upcoming cookoff.
The event will also feature a yard sale and raffle.
Organizers say money from the event will go to The March of Dimes, and in turn, help babies at Riley Hospital for Children.
“Just getting a fresh start in life, they’re having medical issues. They need all the help they can get…that’s the least we can do to help the children out,” Circle K Assistant Manager Jack Sappingfield said.
The cookoff will happen at the Circle K on Lafayette Avenue in Terre Haute.
You can stop by on November 12th and 13th from noon until 5:00 p.m.
Local businesses can help out by donating.
If you’re interested in giving in any way, call the store at 812-242-2960.
