VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – A new business on the south-end of Terre Haute celebrated their ribbon cutting Monday morning.

The new Love’s Truck Stop is located on U.S. Highway 41 and Harlan Drive. This new location brings about 50 jobs to Vigo County.

The 24-hour travel stop offers a Hardee’s and professional drivers can also take advantage of five showers along with plenty of parking spaces.

“We want to be a provider for the community in Terre Haute, be a part of the community atmosphere that Terre Haute provides,” said Paige Perkins, district manager.

In honor of their new store, Love’s donated $2,000 to the local Boy Scouts of America.

That benefits the 1,800 scouts here in the Wabash Valley. Specifically, their after-school programs.
