TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Local friends of slain radio d.j. Matt Luecking hope to continue his legacy. Luecking was found murdered last week in his apartment.

Three people have been arrested for that crime. Now, the Wabash Valley Community Foundation is creating an endowment in his honor.

“Those projects are going to vary based on Matt’s interests. It might be a tennis court one year. It might be something related to music one year… something related to broadcasting year after that, but it’s an opportunity really to let Matt’s legacy live on,” organizer Jamie McDowell said.

Donations will be accepted all day Thursday outside B92.7’s radio station, at any Terre Haute Savings Bank location, or at Baesler’s Market.
