Head-on crash injures 2 in Fishers


FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – The Fishers Police Department was on scene of a serious two-vehicle crash that happened around 6 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the public information officer, the crash happened on Brooks School Road between 116th Street and Fall Creek. They say one of the cars involved crossed the center line.

Police said the Fishers Fire Department one person was extracted from a vehicle.  A medical helicopter was called to the scene to transport the patient to the hospital. Fishers police say that person was taken from the scene with serious injures. A second person only had minor injuries.

Crews were working to clear the scene around 7:30 a.m. The road reopened around 8 a.m.
