TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Kids in Terre Haute will benefit from some volunteer work.
Members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 725 Retirees Club were at Ryves Hall on Friday.
They rehabbed some electrical work at the building.
Ryves recently got a grant to buy materials but needed help with the installation.
Leaders of the organization say this kind of work falls in line with their mission.
“We contribute a lot of donations to non-profits and we also volunteer a time to help offset the expenses of those non-profit that they may not be able to afford the labor for,” John McMullen, President of the IBEW Local 725 Retirees Club said.
He went on to tell News 10 his group is glad they got to help the community in this way.
