TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A man involved in a Terre Haute murder investigation has waived extradition and is being brought back to Terre Haute and the trial date has been set for another suspect involved.
Don Featherstone was arrested in connection with the murder of Terre Haute D.J. Matt Luecking.
Police say after Luecking was killed, Featherstone left the area.
Featherstone was a truck driver. He was located outside of the Chicago area, where he was hospitalized with self-inflicted wounds.
Extradition laws kept Featherstone in Illinois until he either waived extradition or until there was a court order.
I’ll confirm when Featherstone will be in court. It would be Wed. at the earliest since tomorrow is Election Day. @WTHITV

Featherstone is set to appear in court on Wednesday afternoon for formal arraignments.
John Collins appeared in a Vigo County court on Monday afternoon. His trial date was set for April 17, 2017.
