Student-run radio station holds big toy drive

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State University students rally together to help local kids.

On Wednesday, student-run radio station WZIS-FM 90.7 held a toy drive.

Donations benefit Toys for Tots.

Then, the gifts will be given to Vigo County families in need of assistance.

The student station manager says they worked hard to find a cause to support.

“When we were looking around, we found Toys for Tots was really under-represented in the Terre Haute community, so we wanted to help them out. They’re wonderful people, they do a lot of great things in Terre Haute and we’re so happy for them,” Baley Halberstadt said.

You can donate until December 1st.

All you have to do is stop by their station in Drieser Hall on Campus on 6th and Cherry Streets.
