Remembering Amanda Blackburn, one year later

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s been one year since Amanda Blackburn was found shot in her home in Indianapolis.

Blackburn was the pregnant wife of Indianapolis pastor, Davey Blackburn.

Larry Jo Taylor Jr., 18, and Jalen Watson, 21, have been charged with murder and additional felonies related to burglaries at three other homes Nov. 10, the morning Blackburn, a 28-year-old pregnant wife of an Indianapolis pastor, was shot in a home invasion.

24-year-old Diano Gordon also faces two counts of murder, along with burglary, theft and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury in the case.

Davey Blackburn, returned home from the gym to find his wife face down in blood on the living room floor, the probable cause affidavit states.

According to court documents, Larry Jo Taylor Jr. is scheduled to have his pretrial conference on Jan. 1, 2017. No jury trial date has been set.

Jalen Watson’s case is set to go to a jury trial on March 20, 2017. And Diano Gordon faces a jury on May 8, 2017.
