MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A mother admitted to killing her two young children before stabbing herself early Thursday morning in Montgomery County, according to the sheriff.

Montgomery County Sheriff Mark Casteel said 30-year-old Brandi Worley is in custody for the death of 7-year-old Tyler Worley and 3-year-old Charlie Worley.

First responders found the children dead at a home in the 200 block of S. Madison Street in Darlington around 4:30 a.m.

Brandi Worley confessed in a 911 call that she killed her children, Casteel said. “I just stabbed myself and killed my two children,” she said in the call, according to Casteel.

Indiana State Police troopers are assisting with the investigation.
