FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The 2016 presidential election will be remembered by many voters as one where the choices on the ballot were less than ideal. So in Allen County, many people chose to go the write-in route instead of choosing Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton or Gary Johnson. Some of the write-in choices could be considered legitimate candidates, while others were obviously a joke or otherwise.

Here are some of the names that received more than one write-in vote:

  • Winnie the Pooh
  • Christopher Robin
  • Kevin Costner
  • Tom Brady
  • Mickey Mouse
  • Jesus
  • Tom Brady
  • Bernie Sanders
  • John Kasich
  • Condoleezza Rice

Of the declared candidates for president, the following three received the most write-in vote:

  • Darrell L. Castle – Constitution Party candidate
  • Jill Stein – Green Party candidate
  • Donald Trump – Republican candidate
