One arrested after three-vehicle accident on Wabash Avenue Monday evening

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) –  One person was arrested Monday evening after a three-vehicle crash for driving while intoxicated.

Indiana State Police reports the accident happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 40 and Wabash Avenue. *INDOT states Wabash Avenue comes to an end where U.S. 40 turns south and transitions into State Road 46 at the Interstate 70 overpass*capture

A 2000 Chevrolet was traveling west on Wabash Avenue by 31-year-old Adrian Morris of Indianapolis. Officials report Morris failed to stop at the red light and hit two other vehicles. No injuries were reported in this accident.

Morris was found to have no valid driver’s license and had a BAC of .19 percent. He was taken to the Vigo County Jail and charged with operating while intoxicated .15 percent or greater with a prior, operating while intoxicated endangering persons with prior, habitual traffic violator, false informing, no proof of insurance with prior, traffic infractions of open container and disregarding light signal.
