White Violet Center and Sisters of Providence holding annual Christmas Open House


SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (WTHI) – The White Violet Center for Eco-Justice and the Sisters of Providence will be holding their annual Christmas Open House on Dec. 15.

The event will take place from 3-5 p.m. at the White Violet Center on the ground of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

“Thousands of people have touched us throughout the year through visits, volunteer hours, donations and support. The open house gives us a chance to thank everyone for helping us fulfill our mission of teaching, caring and inspiring for all creation,” WVC Director Lorrie Heber said.  “Expressing ourgratitude in gatherings with friends gives us wind beneath our wings to carry on. What a better time than at Christmas?”

Join in Fellowship, holiday beverages and homemade holiday cookies. In addition, Linden Leaf Gifts will be on hand selling alpaca fiber items such as socks, nativities, hats and scarves.
