LINTON, Ind. (WTHI) — The Linton Miners are living “happily ever after” after winning the class A football state championship.
For the 16 senior on the Miners’ roster, the victory was the perfect way to cap off their high school football careers.
The class of 2017 was dominant on the gridiron. The Miners went 52-5 over the last four seasons.
They were freshmen when Coach Brian Oliver took the helm. The seniors never lost a game at their home, Roy Williams Field.
