TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Christmas tradition is just about ready to come to life and welcome visitors for another season.
We are talking about Christmas in the Park.
It’s a drive-through display at Deming Park in Terre Haute where several local organizations decorate a light-up the park’s shelters for all to see.
There is also a competition among many participating organizations.
Monetary prizes are up for grabs.
A group of judges will decide who gets the top awards.

Christmas in the Park opens Thursday with the ceremonial lighting ceremony at 6:00 and runs through the month of December.
This is the 30th year for Christmas n the Park.
