TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The clock is winding down for those needing coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

The deadline is Thursday, December 15th.

If you sign up or continue coverage under ‘Obama Care’ your next year of coverage will start on January 1st.

If you miss the deadline, you can still enroll through January 30th but your coverage won’t begin until February 1st.

The White House is encouraging people to sign up now so there is no gap in coverage.

Just over 4-million people have selected policies for 2017 through Healthcare.gov.
